Enterra Therapy Patient Ambassadors are recipients of Enterra Therapy and are available to share their experiences and connect with you.
At Enterra Medical we know that the gastroparesis journey can be confusing and lonely. We believe that one way to help is to connect with others who have faced similar experiences. Kylea
I’m someone who’s worked hard to rebuild my strength through weightlifting after a long journey of malnutrition and weight loss from gastroparesis. Right now I’m excitedly house hunting with my fiancé. When I’m not lifting, you can find me reading, playing video games, hiking trails or experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Sadila
I’m a licensed psychotherapist but my hobbies include traveling, hanging with friends, and being an advocate for others with gastroparesis.

Cindy
I’m a mother, wife, and a dog-mom! I love to ride our motorcycle with my husband and go out for Mexican on Friday nights.

Judith
I’m a teacher with a passion for travel. I find peace during walks at the beach and doing yoga.

Lynn
I’m recently retired from a 40-year career in the finance industry. I love to read, cook Italian food for my friends, and go on vacation.

Matt
I regularly volunteer in support of the gastroparesis community and have developed a real passion for cooking meals that work for both diabetic and gastroparetic diets. In my free time, I enjoy online gaming and playing piano—a hobby I’ve loved since I was 12!

Amy
I’m embracing every moment as a stay-at-home mom, cherishing the time I spend with my family. One of my favorite joys is taking my daughter to the park and watching her explore and play.

Melanie
I’m someone who’s turned a challenging gastroparesis journey that began with severe food poisoning in 2007 into a story of resilience and renewal. With the help of Enterra Therapy, I’ve embraced travel to places like Jamaica, Greece, Italy, and Paris, and I love balancing part-time work with living life to the fullest.

Emily
I am a mother, a gastroparesis warrior, and a fighter who has survived 30 surgeries. I have worked diligently to gain my life back and be a light to others. I enjoy advocating for gastroparesis, spreading awareness, and bringing light to this condition on my TikTok. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my family, crafting, and decorating for all the holidays.

Cristin
I lost myself for quite some time after becoming what my doctors called “stable sick,” but I’ve slowly rebuilt my identity as a gastroparesis warrior. With the support of my pets, I began small—walking my dog for just five minutes at a time—and over the years I’ve regained strength through walking, yoga, tai chi, and meditation. Today, I’m proud to have found my voice again, both figuratively and literally, as I’ve even relearned how to sing.

Allison
I’m a passionate advocate for human rights and health awareness. Living with gastroparesis has taught me the importance of self-advocacy, and I share my journey to inspire hope and connection so no one feels alone. I live in California’s Central Valley with my husband and our two dogs and two cats, and we love exploring nearby places like Yosemite, Monterey, and Santa Cruz.

Errin
I enjoy spending time with my husband of 32 years – we were high school sweethearts and continue to giggle as though we are still kids today! One of my top goals in life is to be the World’s Greatest Nana to our 8 amazing grandchildren. I feel it is important to share my gastroparesis journey with others to help educate and give hope.
